Ianni’s at Pickin’ Chicken in Johnstown – Fresh, Flavorful Pizzas with Crispy Crusts

Their Margherita is the best tasting pizza I’ve ever had. It was so fresh, perfect balance of flavors, and the crust was fabulous. Their white pizza is also amazing. It was the perfect amount of garlic without being overpowering. I can’t say enough good things about the pizzas we got from them! If I could give them 100 stars I would!

Picked up pizza and salad for my parents when visiting, as they only heard great things. The place was awesome and running smoothly. The pizza oven is huge, crew was working hard. Quattro Formaggio and Thin Dom were both delicious! Crust was great. Also, they were super generous and said they didn’t add enough pepperoni on a double pep pizza and instead made a whole new pizza and gave us that one too! Salad was delicious and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Family was in town so we it was a good opportunity to give it a try. Got four different kinds and wasn't disappointed. The traditional with pepperoni was my favorite. Everyone also liked the Tarantino. They've been only open for a week, so still working out bugs. Took a while to get thru on phone, but they were super polite on the phone. The inside is super nice, but take out only. Look forward to trying some of their other styles and sandwiches.

Service was quick, 3 different large pizzas were ready when stated. The Margherita pizza was my favorite. My husband tried the Level 5 OTC, he said it wasn't too hot so our grandson tried it and he was able to handle it also. The Pepperoni was crunchy like we like it even though I forgot to tell her to make it well done. We over ordered so we will have leftovers for another day. Check thier website out we seen specials listed which was a considerable saving.

This was hands down the best pizza I've had in the region! From the taste, to the quality and uniqueness - after 3 years of living in this area, I've finally found my pizza place! It'll take me several more visits of trying their various types of pies to know what my favorite will be but I had the thin crust Dom & Margherita pizzas last night and have a feeling they'll be hard to top!

I pass this place almost weekly. Today I stopped and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. This pizza is not your normal area stuff. If you are used to cheap trash pizza this will be an acquired taste at first but the flavor is extraordinary. The slightly blackened pepperoni on the crispy wood fired crust is complex and beats anything in our area by far. The sauce is slightly textured with chunks of tomato and a blend of seasonings. Not sweet and not acid. It pairs well with a better quality beer. This is now my go to for pizza. The store is clean and attractive and the fellow that took my order was professional and personable. Parking is ample. Just be really wary if you are pulling out onto to 271 and heading east on SR3001 Ligonier Pike to Johnstown. Visibility is sketchy. Looks like the owners put a lot into this business so let’s make an effort to keep them thriving. Their menu offerings are also extensive without going outside of their skill set.

Phoned and order in for a specific time at it was ready upon pick up. White Pizza & steak hoagie (on a folded over pizza crust) were both ok. A little burnt (and tasted as such) around the edges but overall was good. Can't wait to try the spinach dip with out next order.

Just tried this pizza for the first time and wow! So happy to have them close to me! Great pizza & Fresh toppings! Pizza came fresh out of the oven when we arrived. Such a cool little spot! Friendly staff too! Would definitely recommend this place!
